When ever I start the game after this new update it loads for a second and then goes black is annoying and before that it kept saying detecting updates and there would be a spinning wheel for forever

Will not work after latest update

The game does not work online anymore after the newest update that adds the basement area . After getting the box for an update failed at the beginning, I hit retry, and it stays there at detecting update forever. If I hit cancel, I can only play in offline mode. I paid for the full version, so I do...
