Power-to-X, or PtX for short, refers to the conversion of electricity from renewable energy sources into other substances. In Power-to-Gas, electricity is converted into hydrogen or hydrogen-based compounds. Power-to-Chemicals uses electricity to produce chemical feedstocks that can be further processed industrially and replace fossil raw materials.
