Four race pods sit on their pads under the lights. Walk up to the one you want, press B, and the canopy drops over you. The bay door lifts, the countdown runs, and the tunnel takes you.

Flick the stick left or right and the pod moves over and holds that line - locked in like it is on rails, but every lane choice is yours. No wrestling a wheel, no drifting into a wall. The right grip gives you four seconds of boost that refills as you drive: enough to make a gap, never enough to lean on....
